    Wife wrecked my truck

I was watching forrest gump while on shift at the fire station, phone rings, and I hear My wife screaming, and crying but I cant hear her. All I could make out is I rolled the truck and I cant get out, help me.
I almost died inside as I saw my wife in my head dieing. The phone cut out and I couldnt call back.
Called dispatch and asked if a wreck was reported and they said yes and the fire dept in that area was on the way, unknown if patient is ok. I got the address and told My LT and left to Liberty Hill. I got on the scene and thank god she was ok.
She was covered in broccoli soup and crieng. My father in law just got there. She kept saying, Please dont be mad at me, Im sorry. And i just hugged her. All that mattered was that she was ok.
After making sure she was ok I arranged towing and looked at the truck, Ill post pics tomarrow.
She spun out at about 45, andput it on the drivers side door.
Bed hit a concrete drain and is busted. driver leafs and suspension are gone. door fender and front bumper gone. both driver side tires are bent in half. So I think It may be totalled. Find out tomarrow.
So anyways Im looking at the situation as Im glad she was in my truck. It could have been worse if she was in hers, or if she hit any body.
Maybe it will all work out for the better, who knows.
Worst part is I had to go back to work, but thankfully the guys here came from home to cover the district while I was gone and to make sure My wife and I were ok. Thank god for good friends, safe trucks, and ..... somthing else i cant remember. sorry so long

Man, That sux. I am glad to her you wife is ok. Yeah trucks are easily replaced, most of us have done that but the love of a good woman is hard to come by.

Stuff like that always makes me think: "It could have been fatal. Go do something you wish you would have done or regretted not doing, if it had been fatal". Take a trip, visit family, etc. I know that's not always feasible, but it sure makes you think.

Anyway, I'm glad she's ok man...keep us posted...

Sorry to hear about the truck. Glad the wife is okay. Too bad about the broccoli soup, that's almost a party foul on beer spillage.
