Funny story...
A few weeks ago, I had some electric gremlins eat my gauges... I was at wit's end, and finally took it to the dealer... Well, on my way there, right at Loop 12 and 35 (across from SpeedZone), my truck overheats... F! I was NOT a happy camper... Had a flat bed tow it to the dealer and found out that a blown cruise control fuse was to blame for the gauges not working... And the "overheating" was caused from the upper radiator hose barely rubbing on the electric fans, causing it to create a hole in the upper rad hose...spilling antifreeze everywhere... Well, when the dealer moved my truck back into the service bay to wire up the e-fans, the Variable Speed Controller went up into flames and turned into a mess of melted plastic... I now have fire extinguisher residue everywhere... Anyway, everything is fine. It's just not comforting to get a call from the dealer saying there was a fire under the hood of your truck...
