I like the 216/220 a bunch. It's a great all-around cam. Really nice torque, breaks 'em loose in 2nd and pulls hard low to high.

But I want to try the Thunder Racing 224 everyone likes so much. It may not be better, but I would rather try it than sit and wonder if it would be better or not.

So if anyone spots a 224/224 for sale (or trade for my Comp 216/220) please let me know.

Yeah I've been looking on my lunch. There's a TR227/224 I'm wondering about. Curious if that would work since I have the ram air stuff going on.

I like it so far.. dont have my stall installed yet so its a pig down low, but it pulls like a beast up top.. If i could get in touch with Allen I would be in good shape.. doesnt like to idle and hes got me locked out lol..

For the above cam, that's a turbo (& maybe nitrous) setup. Speeds up the exhaust exit which gives more spooling.

A Procharger cam likes about a 10* bias on exhaust.
Gone, but not forgotten!

Thanks SC - I'll stick with an equal duration. Got a line on a 224, so we'll see...

Moze, if you remember the black Silverado SS that was in here when you were here?
We put a 228/228 .580 .580 117 in and he loves it. I went and drove it a few miles and it pulls great.
This is with no stall either. We went with that cam because he is getting a turbo next month and it will work great with FI.
Anyway, just a little more FYI stuff.
