Donnie at Prostreet Motorsports got my cam in and it's running great. It does have a little more torque than the other one, but between my high expectations and what not, I guess it's not as much as I was hoping for. I'm probably just expecting too much. It does seem to be getting more responsive the more I drive it though. I guess the PCM is still 'learning'. I took the wifey for a ride and got on it pretty good and her reposne was: "what are you talking about, that's WAY better!". So maybe it's just me. Oh, and with the other cam it would just barely break the tires loose when it hit 2nd gear at WOT. Now it's breaking them loose even more hitting 2nd, so all-in-all the cam was a definite improvement. It also idles better with the lower lift. Anyway, the best way to find out is to go to Ennis again and see if there are any improvements. Of course now I also have a fuel pump that works correctly so I'm sure that helps.

Oh, and I ordered a Shaner throttle body - should have that within a week. Billy promised I'd be happy with it or he'd give me a free turbo. Of course he'll claim "I don't remember saying that...!" (yada, yada, yada) But I'm looking forward to the turbo.


OK, I'm not getting a turbo. Dang it.
