I don't know much about the interchangability of heads...but are those something that would 1.) even bolt onto a 5.3 and 2.) give any gains?
The heads flow a little better and you would loose a little compression.
Not sure the benefit would out weigh the swap.

Billy's right. If you had a bigger bore it would help you. Punch that 5.3 out to an LS1 or even better stroke it and make a 383.
