It's 2 WD right now
. I'll probably keep it that way too, since it would just be simpler.
Hmm, I don't understand your thinking...dropping any Chevy 350 into a Toyota is not that hard...in fact Chevrolet and Toyota are built very similiar. Right now, I've got some 63" Chevy rear springs I'm about to throw on there.
Also, you can even bolt a older 350 right up to the tranny in mine....in fact it's been done several times before. I just don't want any problems out of mine, and since I can get most of the parts for cheap, I'm just going to replace the whole drivetrain.
-Motor
-T-Case
-Tranny
-Driveshaft
-Axles? <--What in the hell am I going to do about this? I talked to my brother about it, and he said that my axles and rear end would hold up just fine, as long as I don't romp on it too much...
. Which I know as soon as I hear the V8, that'll all be over.
So, axles and rear end? What are some good suggestions?
