According to this card, the base circle of my cam is 1.530" Apparently this is slightly different from the stock base circle. My truck is my DD so i dont have the downtime to use a pushrod length checker and then order the pushrods. Does anyone know which length that this cam will require?

thats who I usually trust, my nitrous company... They are right, but in the future I would contact Comp or Cam Motion regarding things like this if you have a large amount of question in mind.

Considering they sell the cam... I'd say they would know.

them selling the cam means nothing. They didn't grind it, they simply stock them and sell them. I could call up comp, spec a cam, and sell it to you and I would have NO clue what pr to use.

So they'd sell stuff without the information to back it... right.

When you buy a cam from Comp they don't tell you want pushrods to use because they don't know your engine. Every engine is different. NX probably uses Comp to grind their cams just like a lot of other places do. I think all Thunder Racing cams are ground by Comp to TR spec. Pushrod length changes with head resurfacing, valve jobs, head changes, LS6 head vs. LS1 head, cam base circle change, changing lifter design, changing to aftermarket rockers...

use a push rod length checker on every cam install!!! Only way to be sure.
We do on everyone and normally it is 7.375- 7.4. We have had 7.350's too.
There is normally a little too much pre-load from the factory even on stock stuff.
