Sheesh after a month of weekends after buying my 2005 5.3/4L60E we finally got it all working. It was hard with the wiring since not many people have talked on the board about 03 up or even 05 up fuse boxes or wiring harnesses for these things. Looks like most people just switch out the throttle body back to cable and use an 02 back harness and computer. Well I personally wanted Drive by Wire so we went the hard way I guess. It's all working though. We figured out all the wiring from Alldata and guessing. We had to bypass the computer to start the engine by hooking the ignition switch straight to the purple wire which doesn't come out of the C1 connector. It comes in on the C2 which then goes to the PCM. So we hooked everything up temporarily w/ fuel lines, pump, trans lines, MAF, Pedal, TAC Module, oil change and trans fluid. It ran, but was starving for fuel since we were just running fuel out of a cut off 4qt oil bottle and I didn't have the o2 Sensors plugged in. So we were planning on making sure it was good before the 30day warranty was up and we were only about 12 hours off of that.

I have a few updated pictures of it the night of on my google page. I really need to get some pics of my 99-up seats and cut driveline. I have a whole ton of parts sitting in boxes once we get to the body work. Please comment...give me some ideas. I'd sure take any ideas on saving money...hehe

Maybe eventually we'll get this thing together and see this thing actually running and driving. I think if we actually got it running and driving w/ only the cab and no bed or front clip I would have to much fun to finish it. I would post the video of the fuel starved startup, but you don't realized how dumb you sound till you hear yourself on video.

I do have to say that last Saturday was an experience...I'm not likely to repeat the gas can trick ever again. It worked but that's about it!

I'm just glad it started up easy enough.

As I see it, this project is far from over. I'm willing to take all the I can get about now. As much as I hate to say it. I'm ready to start wet-sanding clear....As that would mean I'm almost done with it...

Hey bro..you gotta any better pics of the floor pan? Or the new crossmember we built?
