Will I need to customize the LS1 harness for my existing gauges, change to aftermarket gauges, or have to use late-model gauges?

I would reuse the wiring in the truck that connect to the existing gauges...
??? you say Basically find ways to incorporate your sensors into the LS motor. Oil pressure at rear top of engine like older sbc and use a head holes for temp...I'm using the passenger side head hole for this.
As far as speedo .. I'm unsure since the new combo is electric and yours is cable driven. conversion or new gauge(s) personal $$$ call
