Thread: Had trans fun this week.

    I thought about going for the trans-go shift kit, but I think Im going FLT later in the fall. You think it would be worth it to go ahead and toss on the transgo kit even if I dont have it on for long?

    What exactly did you replace with the shift kit? Me and a buddy (jethro) did the 1-2 servos and those were a piece of cake.

    The shift kit was actually alot easier than I expected, as I was expecting hell. Most of the process resembles the servo, its mainly just yanking things out and replacing/adding springs, the only different steps are grinding the manual valve and drilling holes in the separator plate. The TransGo instructions could be used to train monkeys to do the kit, they were tremendously supporting, worship them. The only difficulty I really had inside the trans was reinstalling the valvebody, it sort of takes 3 hands.

    I guess later this week I&#39;ll find out how much I like it. Going to the track friday as long as I&#39;m done dripping then.
