Well I got the 05 5.3/4L60E Combo this weekend with all accessories, harness, and exhaust cut off after the o2s and I'm only short a few parts.
Mean05 is hooking me up with o2 sensors, MAF, and Electric Fans from his 05. I should get them Saturday.
Then I got the tuned PCM coming from Nelson's and they said it should be here Friday.
The Engine/Tranny is in the truck with the TransDapt motor mount adapters which I need to get rid of.
I didn't realize the clam shells didn't work right with them. They fit, but super tight.
I got the fuel pump in the other day.
I guess I need the Corvette Fuel Filter.
Maybe if all goes well I can hear this thing roar! That's if we can figure out how to wire it...LOL...I hear its just a matter of 5 wires. We are going test it first before my 30 day warranty is up then take it back apart to clean things up and finish the rest of the truck.
Anyone have any tips for the first start up?
I'm guessing I should change the oil/filter and transmission fluid/filter.
I should be able to get the driveshaft cut/balanced soon afterwards.

Got the trans in, and that sucker wouldn't shift into 3rd or 4th automatically. Bought Transgo's SK-series kits (yet another mistake), and had the guy rebuild it again. Put that puppy back in, and it slipped, but finally went in through all gears. Pulled it out so the guy could check it out ONE MORE TIME. Got it BACK in, and everything seemed fine for my test drive. Went to the store to get my wife a Subway sandwich, and BAM! It broke yet again. Turns out the valve body was not modified correctly.
