Thread: fuel gauge

    does anyone have the same problem with their gauge when its full going to empty and the bright as hell low fuel light coming on in thier 99, ive had it going on for awhile and its just been getting worse with time and i dont know if it is just the float i need to fix or something else, any help would be appriciated, it usually just does it with a full tank for a bit then random

    yep....my sis 99 silverado did it and my 2000 sierra did it....fuel sending unit is what u need....pretty pricy to cuz it comes with a fuel pump and everything i paid about $360....but thats what u need

    09 camry se v6....gotta have a gas saver while in college...still gets up and goes tho

    is there any way to get just the fuel sending unit? I haven't had mine out yet but when i do i was gonna stick a walbro unit in.
    2000scsb silverado, '02 5.3L with Comp Cams custom ground LS1 cam 222/224 112lsa +2deg. 581/581 , '01 LS1 heads decked 0.010" ported, Comp beehive valvesprings, pushrods, shims, pace setter longtubes, no cats, Nelson tuned. AuburnGear Pro series LSD, 4L60E built with 2k rpm stall, corvette servos and raybestos clutches..... Fun enough...... for now
