Yeah it probably would be better but...but I can get an lq4 or ls1 pretty cheap...and my truck is almost paid off and the trailblazers will no longer be made. I've been told the only difference is the crossmember / cradle and program.

Couldnt you just get an entire v8 drop out from another TB? It would probably be much easier and less expensive to just sell what you have and buy a v8 model.
