The new (new to me) cam should be here pretty soon. Going to give the famed Thunder Racing 224/224 .563/.563 on a 112 LSA a try. Virgil will do anything for a breakfast taco or two, so we're going to put it in and I guess I'll need yet another tune after that. Hoping to turn this thing into a screamer on the street.

I'm not sure if you're waving 'goodbye' because I'll be bugging you for another tune or trying to tell me I made a good choice Allen...

Anyway, I know it's bigger than what you recommended, but as you know by now I'm hardheaded and like to try every option under the sun.

I'll let you know when the guy ships it so you can whip up a new tune.

Actually it's my 3rd. First was the Futral 218/228, then the Comp 216/220, now the TR 224/224. And with Virgil helping me with the install, I'm not out anything. Sold my cam for $275 and getting the TR for $260.

Damn fool, you must know how to bargain with selling prices. That is actually cool that you are making money on the deal. Not that many people can do that--selling a used cam, then buying a better (IMO) used cam and making money... so, you taking the wifey to a romantic dinner for two on the $15 you made?

Hell, cam swaps aren't THAT bad, I'd even do it from some breakfast tacos and a couple cans of Copenhagen...

Virgil is cheaper, he doesn't require the chew, just the tacos.

And I take the wifey out as much as possible, she deserves it for putting up with me.

Ok, ok. You drive a hard bargain. Breakfast tacos aren't essential. I can function on Copenhagen alone...

Anyway, I think you will be really happy with the .563 of lift with the 2600 stall. It should keep right in the meat of things.

Also, did all of your woes go away with the timing issue? Or are you waiting on Allen to send you the new PCM?
