He wouldn't race again?

Im going to pick up some wings, and I stop at a red light where a new Monte SS Dale series was sitting. The light turned green and he flies off about two cars links out and I nail it and pass him to the next light. I did not initiate this, but I know his tail was between his legs when he pulled up to the light. At the light I asked if he wanted to do it again and he said no he can't. I asked what motor he had and he said it was just a six. I thought those cars came with the eight? I know this is a lame race, but I haven't had any bites lately.

YEA IT LOOKED LIKE THAT. MAYBE A COUPLE OF YEARS OLDER. SUPERCHARGED 3.5L IS WHAT HE HAD.

Earnhardts were made a few years back. Earnhardt Jr. also has his own line. if it was a lil older that one above it would have these specs:

actually i dont think the dale editions were supercharged. the 04 and 05 came with chargers on them, but to my knowledge they had switched to Dale Jr. by then. Here is a link.

I ran across a Monte SS about a month ago--and it probably was the same type. The one I raced looked like a stock 04 or 05 Monte SS--but it wasn&#39;t the Dale Jr. Edition. Chevy made two SS versions--one supercharged and one N/A. The supercharged ones actually have the "supercharged" decal on them. That is the only way to tell the difference between the two... The supercharged ones have a 3.8L (from the factory) Supercharged V-6 w/ 240 hp. N/A had the 3.8L @ 200 hp. It was really quick for a 6. Were you able to hear the supercharger whine? I did when I raced it because my windows were down... I eventually out ran him because he got the hole shot... It took me almost to 3rd gear to over take him from a 5 m.p.h. roll... I am sure your truck handled that thing way better then my truck did. I think they only started to get the 5.3L 303 hp V-8 in the 06 models...

COOL. I THINK IT WAS JUST A N/A SIX.. EITHER WAY HE WOULDN&#39;T RACE AGAIN. I THINK HE GOT SCARED WHEN HE HEARD MY TURBO SPOOL UP AT HIS DOOR.
