    Well, then I guess I will start to save the pennies for a shift kit. But, I will probably need to get some help, since I have never done this before.

    I'd do that ATF fuild swap as soon as you can. Cheap insurance.

    The kit isn't too expensive... like $100 from KDS but the labor to install it is like $250-350. I will not mess with another trans unless it is out of the vehicle...except for fluid changes.
