Screw the Lotus all it is is a road race toyota celica..i for one would rather have a 12-13 sec. truck...especially if its an ext or crew cab...it just helps to crush their spirit that much more when you spank'em on the street

A Truck that handles well helps do that too. Hotchkis sway bars are the ticket.

well I just got done taking a ride in the Lotus. Not that impressed, but it still put me back in my seat. right after 5500; came more power. Its basically similar to VTEC but in a Lotus.

To put in perspect I ran my buddies stock 99 z28 a4 from a 60 punch on the highway with intake, exhaust, tune, stall and a 100 shot on 32" all terrains, he slowly walked me by a length to a hair over 100. If the lotus&#39;s indeed do trap 103 for a 13.5 pass that shows right there that it peters out up top pretty good, I trapped 98-99 with the mods I listed above so with you having a lighter truck and a cam and full bolt ons(eventually) you should be able to walk him pretty well. All else fails spray his ass or just wait for the turbo. Just remember man you damn bed weighs more then his whole car at some point you have to realize you are in a different league. Sorry if any of this is a repeat but Im lazy and dont like to read.

No it does help. Any kind of encouragement from people on the board or suggestions really help.
