tr cams are made by comp. tr specs it out and puts their name on it. they also run it through a cam doctor and comes along with a cam card.

i've seen the tfs cams and their price is pretty cheap. i know lots of the f-body guys run them with the afr heads but haven't seen any truck guys use their cams.

by gathering your information for your intentions with the truck, i'd say that cam is probably a little big for your application. i feel that something around a 224 on a 112 lsa would better suit your needs and will give you that lope your looking for. also it should still net you great streetability and decent gas mileage.

thanks for the info, I figured it was big but I would really like to hear some to see what they would sound like. I got several hot rods so i dont really need a ground pounder, I just want to make the best power i can out of it. I may give allen a call and see what he has to say since he deals with trucks more....my tune man is a f body guy, like you stated above. Where can I find allens number?

and as to your reply red, it already has the ls6 cam in it and that isnt enough, it also has a vigilante stall, and the longtubes are on their way.....i dont want it to be a grocery getter
