    Anyone got any Stock Cats laying around anywhere with somewhat low miles..My friend has a 2004 6.0 and he has damaged ones that need replacing...

    If they are under 90,000 miles he can take it to the factory and they will replace them under warrenty.

    True dat. (Did I really just say that?)

    Most exhaust shops won&#39;t replace cats on any vehicle if they are under certain mileage--because of the fact that most manufacturers have a standard cat warranty. Your friend shouldn&#39;t have a problem having them replaced by a dealer. Plus, it is hard as hell to get the cats positioned right. Most of the time, exhaust shops will bolt in a whole new Y-pipe/cat set-up. If you do have the old cats cut out and replaced, you have to get them in the exact position between the o2 sensors or the SES light will glare at you in the face...

    If he can find an exhaust shop to insert new/different cats in the place of the bad ones, Good luck&#33; Most places won&#39;t. Tell him to get ready to spend ~&#036;400 for cats...

    I have a ypipe off of my 2004 5.3l with the rear o2 sensors. only 25,000 miles
