I replace alot of hubs at work. I would only fix whats broke and there is no need to replace a hub your not having any issues with. The problem can be in the diag. Sometimes its hard to tell the left from right, Or if one is real loud you may not hear the other side is making noise if its faint until you replace the one you know is bad... If your issue is free play and not noise replace them bolth.
