they are ugly for one thing, and two look at the GM aftermarket compared to theirs. i dont see any of these trucks on the road and u cant say its cuz there is a limited amount i mean the new silverados already outnumber them on the road and they havent bee out long at all. chevy hasnt even begun to get busy with the new trucks yet, look for more standard power than any other truck out soon.

I agree the Tundra's are ugly.

vv8 is correct, you can get a rcsb Tundra!

I realize the LS1 based engine makes good power and I am a Chevy fan, but I have to admit, this Tundra is making some amazing power right off the show room floor. Its going to take many mods just to catch up and then hope that the Tundra doesnt up the ante with mods themselves.

It wasnt that long ago the Lightning came out and was by far the fastest most powerful fullsize truck to date. How much power was it making? Like 385hp or something? So, what was only limited edition/performance package power ~7years ago, is now available in your run of the mill N/A Toyota p/u?? Its just amazing to me that in such a short period of time, how much the horsepower has gone up across the board.

Came across this comparison concerning the Silverado, Tundra and Titan. Very interesting, informative and well written.

This link is to the Dyno testing page, for other pages, look for the clickies on the upper left hand of the page.

It's a HP war out there and it's just getting stronger; it would be the same thing if GM put the LS6/LS2 in their trucks, 400hp.
I'd love to see GM put the new 6.2L in a 1/2 truck, or at least the 6L and not weigh it down with 1,000lbs in options, lol.

Has anyone see the 427SS rcsb at the shows? That would be awesome!

later,
allen
