    cool will have to try that where can you get that fine a wool?

    we actually just got all our headers recoated the past couple of months... micheal at performance coatings did them over in arlington and man what a hell of a job he did... Jet-Hot did them the first go around and they looked like crap compared to what micheal did... so we will see how well his coatings hold up to heat once we hit the track...

    ok what about solvents?? water, degreaser? the headers are in good shape, just need detailing. i know fingerprints will burn in so im going to use latex gloves when installing.

    I would use brake cleaner. Thats what we used on mine after we put them in.
