Thread: Here is my dilema...

    aite...so I have a 2003 4.3 L v6 chevy...I was putting a 6.0 in it..My dad said he didnt want me to change up the motor..So Im going to have to wait about a year or so before I do that...anyway...I was going to add some modifications that will transfer over when I get the V8...plus let me have some fast fun while still owning the v6...tell me what u think of my list so far..

    - Zippy Performance shift kit w/ corvette servo
    - Rear end change from 323 to 373
    - Electric fans
    - Nelson Tune
    - Torque Converter
    - Add a custom fiberglass box/ containing my subs with a built in center console w/ a monitor slot, painted the color of my truck


    What else guys?

    sounds good for a start... good luck.. make sure when you change to 373 that you install a LSD as well... if yours is open that is.

    '91 rcsb, 4.3 V6, 700R4 trans swap, 4/6 drop rolling on 18's, roll pan, 2" cowl hood, electric fan, TBI injector spacer, K&N filter replacement, flowmaster muffler...

    My friend said throttle body modifications will help too...What does that mean?

    looks like your on the right track but...
    a big no no on the shift kit, servo, and torque converter since the lsx based engines do not use the same transmission that's behind the 4.3's.
