Well I found the coils for 150 bucks and decided it's time to do it. Do I need anything else to drop the rear, or is everything else compatible (ie. shocks, brake lines, etc.). Also can anyone tell me how to do it if possible. The only thing I've ever done suspension work on was a VW Bug and replaced shocks here and there.

    Thanks, Jay

Edit: Also what would make it level out better, 2.1 2.5 or the 3 inch drop coil thanks.

You shouldn't need shcoks with just 2" leveling coils. Everything else should be OK also. Don't forget to adjust your headlights down a little bit.

I just realized i never really found out if the 2.1, 2.5, or 3 inch coils would make a difference. How much does the rear need to be dropped to be level? 2.1 seems about right, but would the 3" look good. Anyone have any experience with them? Thanks!

Just measure the difference in height between the top of the tire, and the bottom of the fender at all 4 corners.

I would add the normal load, you and who or what, and have someone measure all the ground to wheel well lips through the center of the axle/spindle. Then consider what you want to drop....

Thanks, I figured that was gonna be the only way, I've got about 2.5" more in the rear, so the 3" coils should settle in nicely with my large ass up front. Thanks again guys
