Red can't get the link to work... probably my dial up

Did the HP Calculator....

Calculate HP from Trap Speed
Vehicle weight in pounds (including driver)
lbs 5150
Trap speed at end of 1/4 mi in m.p.h.
m.p.h. 97.51

You are making :373 HP at the rear wheels and 440 HP at the flywheel*.

*Note: Assuming a 18% drive train loss.
Calculate HP from ET
Vehicle weight in pounds (including driver)
lbs 5150
ET in seconds
sec 13.84

You are making :384 HP at the rear wheels and 450 HP at the flywheel*.

I like the sound of those numbers

Sorry I missed you guys, those are all great runs, Daniel you're going a lot faster than I thought you would and Jeff MAN 13.8 that's just awesome. I ran a 14.47 with an extra 180-lbs in luggage.

Really looking forward to doing this again!

Thanks. I had 3 14.2xx runs at Ennis. I almost pulled off a 14.1x when I ran my 14.209. Get rid of your 180 lbs of luggage and find your right stall PRMs at launch and youll be right with me if not better.

Well yeah I just left from a 650-rpm idle; but I'm not so sure that's all - my MPH at the finish line was only 91mph, a lot of the other similarly modded guys were crossing the line in the 93-94+ mph range, and my 1/8-mi times/speeds were the same as they so I'm wondering if I'm loosing a bit on the top-end in 3rd gear??? I'm wondering if maybe I should turn on the TCC in 3rd as well as launch from 1500-rpm...

I'm working on eliminating my rear-end vibration now, then I need to join you at Temple.

Sounds good. Are you always running on 93 octane? That would make a difference. It could also be how agressive your tune is. Temple would be cool. There is another truck shoot out in about a month. 100 bucks to the winner.
