Sweet glad to hear you finally made, and look at your 60' 2.3 you were spinning you arse off, next time you want to go out let me know and we can throw my slicks on yours and see what you can really expect bet you hit some 2.0 60' and drop about 3 tenths off that et

Thanks man. My best 60' was 2.263 and that was done in 4wd. Maybe I just need a new rear end...If I hooked, I think you're right - I'd be around 2.0.

First I have to decide on a cam though. Smaller for the strip or bigger for the street.....

so many people like that tr224 cam, but hey i like my cam it is almost big enough, but something on the 112lsa unless you want to use nitrous then go for something with a 112+2lsa, when i get my truck back i am going out to redline cause i want my 7's

Yeah I'm undecided how I want to proceed. I'm not going to be using nitrous I don't think. Patriot sells a 226/226 .585/.585 on a 112 LSA for like $275 so that had me interested. I forget what size your cam was? Anyway, I'm anxious to get another one in there and see what kind of a difference it makes.

crap - that'd be huge for my truck. That size cam would probably mean changing my converter again and I don't know what else. I wish you'd just give me your truck and be done with it.

I'm going to keep the converter I have for a while, so I need to find something to compliment the 2600 stall. There's one guy running on PT.net that has that 226 and swears by it. Not sure if he takes it to the track though.

Is everything right with the tune? I ran a 15.1 with a 3k stall, drop in K&N, exhaust and Allens tune. You have alot more stuff working for you, I would have figured you would have been low 14s, even if your 60 was down where it should be(2.0) you would only be at 14.7

I think the exact same way you do. I figured with all the mods I'd be making better times.

I will say I never got it tuned since the first converter (Fuddle 3000) or the header install. I think there might be some more in it - maybe if the shift points are adjusted, it will help.

I've got the cats on too - not sure if that's hurting or not. It did feel like it bogged it down when I had them reinstalled, so maybe there's a little 'umph' hiding there.

Awesome man!! Those 1/8 mile times almost mirror my runs today. It was missing bad everytime I hit the kit and I went 9.66 @74.5mph with a 2.366 60'. Found out when I got to work that my plugs are actually 3 steps colder than stock!!! No wonder it was running so rich lol. Good runs! Mine were in 2wd also

Ah VTEC. All the lag, none of the turbo. It's like waiting for bad sex.
