Remember thicker oils cause powerloss. I run 20W50 in my F-150 and can gain about 10-15hp by going back to 5W30 from what I understand. Like running onthe ground vs in a pool.

My old C5 ran 5W30 M1 factory and the WRX uses M1 5W30 too.

If I use dino oil, I do with Valvoline.

Thanks guys, I think I might go with M1 or Royal Purple 10W-30.

Which one is better??? I think royal purple is a bit more pricey than M1.

    I could be wrong

i swear by Royal Purple. but if you look at the price of how much 6 quarts cost and only change the oil every 6000 miles it adds up to be the same as changing it every 3000 with the cheaper oil. just my .02

Just try the Royal Purple, and then let everyone know what you think. If you don't like it, switch. But I think once you try it-you'll stay with it!
