You know, the main thing that bothers me about the trick kit, is that on the passenger manifold, the runners from each cylinder run into the main pipe at a 90 degree angle. Perhaps testing has shown otherwise, but in my mind that has to KILL flow. Same thing for the wastegate dump tube into the downpipe. I was always taught to gently merge runners together at an angle less than 60 degrees for best flow.

I don't see that there's a problem with space that prevents doing this, I'm just wondering why the kit was designed with all these 90 degree joints. I'd love to hear from the designer/fabricator of the setup, perhaps they know something I have overlooked.

So let me get this straight. Trick offers the kit with no turbo, wastegate, etc. for 2400 bucks, just the PIPES? And then Nelson offers the same kit with turbo and other hardware for 4200...right?

HOW MUCH HP ARE PLANNING TO MAKE? THE TRICK MANIFOLDS FLOW REALLY GOOD. THAT IS THE SET UP FOR MY FUTURE PROJECT. I 'VE SEEN A 1000HP ON THESE AS WELL. LOOK AT ALL THE BEND ON AN STS SETUP?(TONS OF BENDS, BUT IT FLOWS GREAT WITH NO LAG). I'VE SEEN OVER A 1000 HP ON STS SYSTEMS. I THINK THEY HAVE BEEN RESEARCH ENOUGH TO TAKE OUT ALL THE MISTAKES WE MIGHT MAKE. YOU COULD MAKE SOME, BUT THEN YOU ARE NOW INTO THE GUESSING GAME WILL THEY WORK OR FAIL. SOME PEOPLE HAVE MADE THEIR OWN AND DO QUITE WELL, BUT I DO NOT HAVE THAT EXPERIENCE.
THERE IS ANOTHER SETUP, THE LIVERNOIS TURBO SETUP?
THIS IS MY .
