if we could find a track that would be decent driving distance for lets say Florida guys to Texas guys and reserve the track for the weekend, would anyone be up for trying? Off the top of my head i am thinking Belle Rose, La. nice track, great setup they have going. anyway, i think we could pull it off. Call it a all chevy truck meet at the track if you will.

if we could settle on a track and get in touch with them, then find a date, set a price this should work...

allen, it would be a great opportunity for you to do some tunes!!!!!!$$&#0 36;$$$$

plus a great time for all that come. we can even have trophies for different classes. fastest stock, to all out fastest efi/carbed.

this is just some thoughts i was pondering. let me know what yall think

hey i am all about throwing some ideas around. your right, it will be a big undertaking for the group of people that get it going. i guess that is why i am trying to start small to see who is interested in getting this together and figure times and such out. i know ls1tech has their shootout in april i think. That's no good for me, wife having a baby. Daniel's wife should have given birth already. So let me know if you guys are interested in helping out? Whoever else is interested please let me know.

great. well, my first question is how far would you go, to enter a truck only challenge? i mean that will be a deciding factor for a lot of guys. i know memphis, TN has a nice track. however, i don't know all the tracks between jacksonville and dallas. if it were a bit north, then guys like parish might come down and challenge blacksheep. could be fun....

This sounds like those Fun Ford Weekends that happen every now and then. I'd drive to LA...dunno about TN kinda far from TX. Depends how fast the DMax is by then. Does sound interesting though for sure.
