Sounds like a good deal since its not a salvage yard transaction. 60K is just breaking it in. The heads should have 317 embossed on the ends and there should be 6.0 embossed in the back of the block behind the flywheel on the passenger side. You won't see it if the transmission is still bolted up to it though. The 317 number on the head will tell you it's a 6L engine but won't tell if it's a LQ9 or not. As far as I know the Escalades all got LQ9 engines but I could easily be wrong.
