Thread: altenator

    I need to put out more amperage than the factory 145 alt. so what are my options for larger altenators....i heard something about a alt off a H2 but i dont know if that is correct or if it will even bolt up....if you could help that would be great..

    i would recommend to have a local alt/starter shop build your alt for more output.usually can build a alt for about one dollar per amp,ie $200 for a 200amp alt.if price is not a concern look up companies like ohio generator on the net.

    i still need one and im still broke

    but a new trans may be in my possesion soon, so i dunno how that will work out
