LS6 Cam

Hey guys I got my LS6 cam & springs I got the 385HP cam.
Can't wait to get it installed.

What do you guys think my truck will run with it installed?
5,000 Lbs race weight. Look at my current mods and then ad my cam to them and tell me what you guys think. I'm also gonna get the pcm tuned w/ the cam install.

P.S.

What do you guys think of my stock converter with this set up?
I know a new stall would be the way to go but who makes a 2500-3000 stall converter that would handle towing 8,000 - 10,000 Lbs?

Does anyone know how much torque I will lose in the 2K-3K range with the ls6 cam swap?
Now that I think of it my intake imo would only flow up to 5500-5600 would I even see any improvement with the ls6 cam?

Well I know the 400hp was the 02+. so you must have gotten the 01 cam. I had that in my Z71 excab, it ran a 12.8 in the 1000', thats the only track we really have close to us so youd have to convert that to 1/4 mile time. You can shift it at 6k, power will top out at 5800. I made 266hp/263tq at the wheels with that cam.

What mods did you have when you dynoed it? What wheel/tire/gear combo and last of? Last of all did you dyno in 2nd or 3rd?
