I dont know why they increased the bore size other than to help unshroud the valves and to give a bit more displacement for better low end torque, at least that my guess.

everything ive read says the new camaro's will have the ls2 in it at least the concepts do. i dont think we'll se the ls9 in the camaro, only in the top of the line vette. camaro is never gonna be as fast as a vette at least not from the factory. HOPEFULLY GM proves me wrong. by the way anyone seen the new vettes are getting 5.3's?

I Know the ls9 is supposed to be used in the escalade V. Since gm is going to mass produce superchargers maybe that will mean that you can get a gmperformance parts supercharger later in life that will offer the same bargain as the l92 heads. I sure as hell hope GM proves both of us wrong on the ls9 and the camaro because i would buy one in a heart beat. I would sell everything i own to get an ls9 camaro. 650 horse supercharged camaro, then you could probably change the supercharger pulley and make close to 700hp and pretty much out run a cops radio and the helicopter chasing you.

Truck motor, look at the manifolds... if you've owned a C5/6 you know the manifolds are different.

THE VETTES ARE GETTING 5.3s>>??!!!! What is thes world coming too! Well I hope its a hyped up 5.3L. I also dont think we will see the LS9 in a camaro. GM wont allow anything to be as fast as its baby (Vette).
