well i went for a short cruise tonight since i havnt been able to drive my truck for a week. came up beside one of those boss silverado's. as im stopping he lunges forward. i look over at him and look at him like im scared? it was a young kid, probably in his daddy's truck. light turns green and i let him get about a truck length on me and then i nail it . flew right by him. let off at about 60 and coaasted back down to let him catch up. when i got back beside him he wouldnt even look at me. all i wanted to know was what was in it? 5.3, 4.8.

also got to mess with a single cab HD. looked just like the one we have at our shop. so im thinking it had the 6.0 in it. he got me off the line but couldnt hold me off. once i hit about 2000 rpm's it was all over.

Allen seems to me your tune is finally starting to wake up. really starting to enjoy driving it. Now if i can just get it to perform as good at the track, and turn me out a lower ETA.

I am with Sleeper.. the only Boss trucks I have seen are F-150s. Maybe it was one of those yellow 'hot trucks' with a boss sticker on it. dunno... Congrats on the kill anyway.

it was one of the conversion trucks. said "the Boss" on the tailgate and the side.
like a regency conversion, you can get them in either make ford or chevy.
but not the BOSS performance version for ford
