    How much hp do you get with each increace of boost?I had it wrote down,cant find it now!
    i'm running 51/2 to 6 with a 3.40 pulley,and now i
    have a 3.00 I'll put on monday.

    ive seen it differ from 10-15rwhp per # of boost on different vehicles. i think you would see somewhere between 70-85rwhp increase with #6 :shrug:

    10rwhp per 1lbs sounds good. I also remember that 1Bar of boost (about 14.5psi) will double your compression ratio too.

    In my buick, 1psi=15 hp The biggest thing about boost I think is the torque out put. Torque is what initially gets you going, and that really helps in heavy trucks.

    I bet its a 86 Buick Grand National.85-87 had turbos,I think.

    Each # of boost is usually good for about 15-20hp. A kit that produces 7# will give you about 130 rear wheel horsepower.
