I am going to be installing them monday, or attempting to install.

To the guys that have done this before, anything I need to know? Is it very hard? Is it easier to go from the top or from the bottom? Lots of questions here.

    Thanks in advance!

Feel free to add any info you want.

    Daniel

Jack it up, take off the tires and remove the wheel well inserts. Make sure you put jack stands under it.

from when we did mine i learned a few things.... im not sure how different yours will be from mine i only have the 2wd ...

    1. MAKE SURE you have the tools to take out the spark plugs... it would have taken days without the swivel socket

    2. jack it up and use jack stands (we did ours just layin on our back) and make sure you will have plenty of room, it takes a little bit to get the LT's under there.

    3. we had to take out the oil dipstick tube on mine and dannys truck to get them to clear, and it made things a little bit simpler... when you re-install the DS tube, clean all around it and use a little bit of silicone to seal around the outside edges... it what we did just to make sure we wouldnt have any misterious oil leaks

    4. soak all the bolts good before you try and take em off... mine were hard as hell even with an impact gun

we didnt have to take the wheels off or remove the inner fender wells but im sure that may make some parts easier to do.... but one thing i can say is CHOCK YOUR WHEELS nothing can ruin a day like a truck falling off a jackstand and on top of you... i hate working underneath any kind of vehicle without a lift, but i dont have easy access to one

Oh and when handling them use rubber gloves or clean them after you install them... .ive noticed a few spots where our hands were greasy, kind of baked onto the initial finish... i know its in an engine compartment and going to get filthy no matter what, but theres a few sposts that are very difficult to clean off from the initial install

if you have air tools (which i assume you do because of your line of business) it also makes life alot easier just to zip the bolts off and on

i cant think of anything else right now, but if you have any questions when your doing them gimme a call i think you have my number from back at the SM meet
