I stopped at gas station tonight, when I pull out on the highway, I get on it and my FLT tranny went boom. I don't have any gears, must have snapped the input shaft. Now I'm going to pull the tranny and take it up to FLT and have them go through it to see if it is worth fixing or I may just go with a 4l80e conversion.

Damn that sucks. There was a guy on PT.net selling a 4l80e conversion kit from Speed Engineering.

Do the 80e conversion and dont look back man, I have gone through many 60e's built and stock, as soon as I get the cash I will be going 80e, its not too hard to do.

Do the 80E swap. I did the swap (along with a DANA 60, after breaking the POS 60E and stock rear end)

The money and time spent to do this is well worth it.

Just lookin at your truck I wouldn't waste time with another 60E, they're junk.
