Thread: paint calipers

    im painting my calipers next weekend....i can't decide on red or blue....and on the rotors can't decide on glossy or flat black...any opinons??? and any tips?? thanks


    2001 seirra 5.3L ex cab.-- 93 performance Nelson Tune,longtube pacesetter headers, ory, magnaflow with electric cut out, airaid cai, throttle body spacer, clear corners, 1400 watt system, 2 ifinity tens custom boxes, panasonic head unit, punch grill....sold :-(
    09 camry se v6....gotta have a gas saver while in college...still gets up and goes tho

    I just used flat black on the rotor caps and the whole brake assembly. i thought it looked real nice. You should try and photoshop red on there id like to see it.

    i think red will stand out more and ur JG rims will show them off nicely. blue is cool too just wont POP like the red&#33;

    I did my calipers in Chevy red....its almost an orange....and the caliper frame in silver.
    &#39;02 Silverado Z-71, STS Turbo @ 10psi, TRT Custom FMIC, Comp 222/218/115 cam, Patriot Gold Dual Springs, Hardened Push Rods, 60# injectors, 160 Thermo, FAL E-Fans, Nelson Harness, Yank 2600, Built Rock On VacMod 60E Transmission,Walbro 255 fuel pump, ASP Underdrive pulleys, Gibson Shorty Headers all polished up with a Nelson Street Tune

    i never thought about silver....i might have to try that....but it might take away from the wheel....i think im just gonna go with black and red....

    I suggest to go red. Is will stand out and look the best.

    You trying to get the caliper to blend or stick out???? IMHO, I would get a powder coated glossy black. It will be seen but not distracting with the colors you already have...
