They have a 5.3 dyno on their web page. No HP gain but 23lb-ft of torque. With my little 4.8, I need all the torque I can get.. For $49.00 I might try it. I'll be the ginny pig.![]()

There was an extensive thread on ls1tech a while back about it. I think the general consinsus wasJust go buy a carbide bit for you dremel and some fine grit paper and p/p you throttle body.
btw... look back at their dyno graphs and look at the a/f ratio between the two runs. Something a little fishy going on there.

Let's face it, the red hair... makes 'em wet.
Don't know any real world answer for it..but from what I have heard is.. your reducing the size of your throttle body...turning it into a velocity stack... thus at lower speeds moving less air faster = torque.
but you can starve up top..... so no top end improvement. save yer $$$$

Thanks guys,I won't buy it.Ilooked at the TB on my truck, and it looks lke GM changed it from the 2000 I had. The new 2003 is wire controled unit, but the inside's different aswell. It has a lip on the bottom of it.
I guess to ramp up the air between the blade??
