Finally fired it up tonight, but the thing wont stay running.. The only weird code im getting is p0452.. I looked it up and it says something about fuel tank pressure sensor circuit low voltage.. Basically the sensor is seeing no vacuum.. Im not really sure where to start.. Also Allens harness has no plug for evap canister.. Do i need this for the motor to run correctly.. I can get it to run for about 10 seconds and then it dies..

Thanks in advance,
Drew

No, you don't need evap to run the engine. Have you disabled VATS through your PCM?

Sure havent.. that should be it.. ive been plugging away for hours.. Im using the original pcm that came with the motor.. should i still have to do vats??? Thats definetely what it sounds like though.. will run for about 10 seconds and then its like someone turns a light switch off and the motor dies..

10 seconds seems like too long a time for it to be a VATS problem.. In my experience they usually run for 2 seconds or less and then just shut down. However, you did not mention if you did any reprogramming of your PCM and if you have not dealt with the VATS issue, you need to. While you are getting your PCM reprogrammed, that would be the time to delete any emmision related items that may not be necessary for your swap (rear O2s, evap system, etc) and correct for your gear ratio in addition to any performance tuning you'd like to have done.
