What is wrong with the Hypertech III? Is there a better programer out?

I've been looking around for something that I can change while I'm driving around.LS1 Edit sounds like the best,but can't get any info on it.Their website is pretty vague.Hypertech doesn't sound like it will do what I want,closest thing I've found though without making my own.Might have to do that though
