How much would a 2200-2400 really help? And how bad will it affect my gas mileage?

Why do you put "Performance" and "Gas Mileage" in the same sentence?????

In town you will loose some mileage since you will want to romp on it more.....
Performance wise you will get to your power band faster and for me yes it was worth it

ive heard from many people that unless u go higher than that its not worth it. 3000 is where a lot of people start.

As with any performance part, where are you going and when will you be there. If you never get a cam that starts making power at 4000 RPM don't get a stall that starts at 4000 RPM...... What parts are next and what are your priorities

I got a 2800 and its not enough for my cam. If you have a big cam i would get a 3000 or 3200 stall. If you have a lock up stall it wont really matter what stall you have on the highway. the one i got didnt change my mileage at all. But being that your afraid to hurt you mileage i would get anywhere from a 2800-3200 stall. Just my two pennies
