That is a good install. I hate to brake it to you but that is just a very efficient cold air intake. You might ask how do i know. Well this is my third truck that i have built ram air on. Here is what i did and this may help you.
1. Parts- 1 dryer hose from home depot, 1 dremel, 1 can spray insulation.
2. I used the drimmel to make a hole in the bottom of the air box and in the metal plate below the air box.
3. I slid the hose through the air box and down and through the support and then up behind the front grill similar to what you did.
4. Now here is where i made it ram air. This took a little physics thought on my part. It is easy to pressureise a big space a little bit then it is a smaller place. What you do is with the spray insulation i sealed all the remaining holes in the sides of the air box to only use what the hose is bringing in.
5. Ram air does not become functional until around 60.
