That $%^ing sux the big one.

I think you know my response lol, joe built me a badass trans and still hasn't broke, even with 10's of passes down the 1/4 mile.
I know he's out of town but it might be worth a shot. 02Denali had luck with cottman, hahaha jk, don't go there, he had luck with century transmission, i believe they are in houston as well.

So what broke on it? I think you take the trophy with tranny problems, mine only went out 3times in one week, hahah.
    nothing funny about it.

Go with all hardened parts , clutches, bands, planetary, etc... i did and no problems, i would however like to tear it apart and see if anything is wearing out, kind of a preventive maintenance thing, maybe someday when i get some time.

good luck and let us know how it turns out,

Well SSDD is good...Same Shit Different Day!

I still think your shifts are too hard w/ 3 washers, billet servos, and increased line pressure...

well got the truck back . had them take out all three washers and tweak the epc down about one and a half turns. as lance and i discussed the seperator plate has probably been drilled out to big and it still shifts hard, just not as hard as before.tranny feels a little better too, seems to take off a little better and pull better too. the only big problem i have right now is a major transmission fluid leak. didnt notice it untill late this evening when i was runnin a GT. i noticed that there was smoke pouring out from behind me in my rearview mirror. got back home and discovered that the whole underside of the truck is covered with transmission fluid so monday after work im headed back to see what has come lose or what wasnt put back together right.............................

WELL THE FUCKIN TRANSMISSION WENT OUT AGAIN THIS MORNIN!!!!!!
at 5:00am on my way to work. had it towed there and told him this is the last time. the trans fluid was 4 inches over the full mark. and he said that he had his best worker work on it and i told him that apparently he didnt know how to fix it. also that if he cant fix it he needs to send it to someone that can. and im afraid that he is putting in used parts and that is what might be causing my problems. i so F$#@# mad right now but i stuck between a rock and a hard spot because i dont have the money to take it to another shop and get it fixed, plus fight him with a lawyer to get my money back.
