that is a common issue we face when installing a 3000+ stall speed convertor in the 4L60 type transmissions. I had Allen disable mine and my transmission loves it now. He probably remember exactly which ones to turn off.

Mine did the same thing after installing my TB converter. I raised my shift points (which were too low with the new converter) and the problem went away, even without disabling the code.

It would only do it if I eased away from a stop. As RedHeartbeat said, the computer thinks that the slipage of your converter is a slipping trans. When I upped the shift points to closer to the stall speed it eliminated some of the slippage. Before at very light throttle it would shift at around 1800rpm and there would be almost no change in rpm.
