I bought my fans from GandRauto.com in OKC for $195 shipped. 2005 Silverado fans.

is there any benefit of going with the 05 fans over the ls1 fans? also is there any way to avoid switching to the 34 inch radiator with either one of those fans?

I have one switch with three positions. Middle is PCM controled, up is high, down is low. I even added a LED that indicates when the fans are on.

I like that idea. Do you have a wiring diagram? I assume all of this will work with Allen's harness?

I have a f-body harness for the fans. I'm sure it will work with Allen's harness, but I would have to see it to tell you what wires to hook up. Anyone have a diagram?

THe LS1 fans fit the 28" radiator using 2 metal straps on the top and a hole in the bottom to sit on the pin from the lower radiator support. The '05 fans fit hte 34" radiator.....

will the 28 inch radiator with efans be sufficient as far as my 6.0 goes?

Stock yes, modded most likely not. There are people who have a 6.0 with the LS1 fans but wish they went 34".
