I remember Venom racing and performance from the import drags. I thought they were more into imports. What are you wanting to put it in?

well im not sure if their just for imports....i found them on jegs. they have them for the 98 vortec 5.7's......supposley a 25 percent increase in hp? thats weird..i dont see how you can pick up and extra 60 horses or by just a venom chip!

the only 25+% I have ever feel from modifying my ECU, is when Allen Nelson mess it up for good. Great in every way!!!!!!

You'd be lucky to get 30 HP out of the 5.7 Vortec with just programming. I'd keep looking until I found someone who's installed a Venom chip and has proof of the HP.

dont go cheap(cuz u get what u pay for) id go Nelson. theres two reasons:1 is that yeah it may be 500 bucks, but u get tune ugrades free for life, and 2 is that u get a mor ein depth tune that allows Allen to pinpoint certain things u may really want or dont want like TM and things like that. im no expert, but theres plenty of people on this site, and around the world(literally) that can atest to his tuning genius!
that is true " you get what you pay for " but i live in between houston and beumont and the drive is so far! Maybe later on if i save up the cash ill take the road trip.
