    I was under the belief that a Uni-Body had the frame AND the body all in one piece to the firewall.......

    Avalanche ====>>>> Frame, & one big body.

    '62 Nova ====>>> No Frame, and one peice of body to the firewall.

    fine it looks like a unibody then&#33; ok is the ridgeline a unibody? thanks guys now were gonna have to include it in the truck brotherhood. avalanche is nice, i love the new ones, and the old ones with a few mods r nice as hell&#33;

    Dude, the Avalanche is built on a frame. I don&#39;t know about the Ridgeline, but all other Hondas are built on a unibody, AFAIK.

    Do you seriously not understand the difference?

    The only SUV that Chevrolet produces that is unibody is the Equinox.

    Yeah when I crawled up under it today I was pretty sure I saw a frame lol. Its a TRUV, part truck/part SUV. Its like a tahoe and a silverado got it on or something and made the Avalanche. Think of it that way
    2009 Silverado, HPTuners, all stock.
