    1slow,

Have the experience of some dudes here that use 0W? just to see the oil disapear in a period of time !!!!!!!!

Ecuador range form 14763ft to 16ft of altitudes. been me in the coastal part, there's a lot of heat most of the time, and we try to use as minimun 10w* cause we don't see the meaning for 5 or lower..

I the Capital Quito (11482 ft) the use a lot 0w.

Now, before I changed to full synthetic I made one step before wich I consider kind of logic. I fill it up with Chevron Delo 4000 multigrade SAE 15W-40 made with ISOSyn, wich is the same oil I use on the MAck Granite truck.

I did that cause in my mind Disel oil have a little more detergent, and this one complies API SL so I figure It can't be wrong and "maybe" clean better the internal for the full synthetic mobil1. Just asumptions.

I'll be using it for at least a week, and then switching to full synthetic. If it does not make any good, at least wont make any damage.

Ur right on target when the importers here just bring 10W and up oils, guess the weather have to do with it.

1Slow, thanks for all that info, it was very usefull to me. As always, thanks for ur unconditional help.

Allstar55566, Hot around here, but guess not as hot as Texas dude. maybe on the same range!!!!

    NITROUS
Sir YES Sir, the are the Craggar Keystone that have been there before I was borne. I send them to crome cause the are 2 piece, the have to take them appart, and the center parts polish cause is aluminum, and the out part is steel. They R really nice, and me been not that old, love everything about OldsKool, most the look.

There's this zone that face the pacific ocean, and is hotly nice, in part of that zone I live, then, if you divide the country in 3 parts, comes the midle that is all mountains, where the weater is cold with some parts with snow that never melts.
Advancing in land, you step down the montains and start stepping into the amazonian part. Ecaador has just a little portion of the amazonian part, but enough to tell you is the most vast and strange place in the wolrd, and the weather there, well, it just range form humid hot to rainy cold. Most animals you'll never imagine, and a lot of forgein petroleum companies with lot of lads from the US and England.

Also in the coastal part in a region called MAnta, there's this American Military base. Know a few guys there, some has a few mod cars and time to time cruise in the city, but that city is at 4 hours from mine!!!!
