he sprayed this engine with flat black, there was a post a few days ago that he asked what we thought about it on haha. i was concerned with the engine compartment heat as well, but seeing as ricers do it all the time and they have no probs i dont see why itd make a difference now "thats why they make hoods with heat extractors built in them." as far as how it "looks" personallyt i thought the custom manifold on the pass side looked awesoem and very clean. i think it looks nice, wish it was easier to do to a stock LQ4 but when u got that bolted on its not gonna be "easy" good job overall, cant wait to see the final finished product for stock engines(intercooled). other than pistons and rods, what else on the 6.0 wouldnt hold up to this beast?
